This was a very basic phone interview. It lasted approximately 20 minutes. Kate provided a little background on the company and then asked me a question. They are a small company and just beginning to open an office in the Phoenix area.

1 phone screen interview which went really well. a couple days later the recruiter asked me to do a skype interview with some liability claims managers. the way they do the 2nd interview is broken up. I had 1 30m interview with my hiring mgr, then a 30m interview with 2 liab mgrs. in OH, then a 30min interview with the director of claims and finally a 15m talk session with the recruiter.
All along the way each interviewer made sure to make it known that they are in the very early stages of building their claims systems and processes and it would be expected to contribute towards improving those processes. The asked a few general experience STAR questions, a few hypotheticals. They wanted to know if I had experience leading any change improvements at previous jobs and what all I did at my previous employers. I would say the interview was moderately difficult. Enough to make you think but not so much that it felt like who wants to be a millionaire. It was not even 30 minutes after the skype interview that i was called back and offered the job above my expected salary. The pay is very good currently probably because they are staffing up and are new. I have not started yet but would highly encourage experienced adjusters to apply.
