Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Rockwell Automation en mar 2015
Entrevista
Waited about 3 weeks to hear back from them. Received an e-mail directly from supervisor engineer to set up a phone interview.
Phone Interview was 30 minutes: History of company, some questions about my projects and experiences, my turn to ask questions.
Possible invite for on site interview but never went anywhere.

The Rockwell firmware engineer interview is usually a face-to-face technical discussion where the interviewer focuses a lot on how you debug and troubleshoot real embedded problems. They will check your understanding of MCU fundamentals such as stack vs dynamic memory, timing control, interrupts, communication interfaces, and how you analyse faults on hardware. You can expect scenario questions like unstable sensor readings, random resets, or timing issues, and they want to see your logical thinking, not textbook answers. The whole process is practical, hands-on, and very focused on whether you can analyse, isolate, and solve system-level problems.

If you pass the phone screen you get to HR interview and then a technical interview. Phone screen was with a recruiter, they seemed very disinterested in my answers overall during the call.
