It was nice experience. Experienced HR. They guide you with the process brilliantly. Interview was a bit lengthy but if you want to enter company like Rockstar then I think that's much required.

Interview process was thorough and smooth, they were well prepared. I met with all the relevant people, it was a relaxed interview but with solid questions to gauge what type of candidate I was.

Took 3 weeks total. First interview was over the phone. The lead was late so the recruiter rescheduled. He was nice, imformative, and I didn't feel pressured. I asked for a critique even and he said theres nothing wrong and he liked my work and that I was qualified. A week later, had a second interview with 2 directors. They too were both late so the recruiter had to reschedule again. This time it was over a fuzzy conference line and I had a hard time hearing them. They seemed stressed. One didnt talk much but tried to be funny when actually he was insulting about why I hadnt been working in 2 years and gave sarcastic remarks making fun of people being laid off. Whatever dude. The other guy was flat out rude and tainted the air with negativity after I exuded positive praise about their most recent successful project and in reply he said, "What? Its terrible! I see everything wrong with what we made. I don't see anything great about it" Wow. Ok. So that is how you regard your team? Excuse me while I go throw up. That would be the response I'd get if I were to work there which doesnt show great leadership. Thanks, but no thanks. Maybe all the rumors ARE true then.
A week later, the recruiter emailed me saying they already chose another candidate that is more qualified for the position. Normal denial response. The recruiter was nice at least.

So tell us a little about yourself, why did you choose Rockstar, and what initially led you to want to work here, and why you think you can make an impact?
So...your past project was in....2012...so it's been...what ...2 years since you haven't found work? Why not? Why did your last project only last a year? Did the leads just walk in one day and say, "Everyone get out!" Hahaha.
In my mind I was thinking "...not...funny..."
