The interview consists of three parts. The first part is more about introductions and making a good impression on the hiring manager. The second part is homework, and the final part is focused on your professional knowledge and problem-solving skills. I got to the final interview, but I was declined because I have no fluid systems experience. So, before applying for a mechanical engineer position, be sure you have knowledge and experience in fluid systems.
