After that, I spoke with the VP of marketing who was also very nice. After I was done with the interview they wanted me to do a marketing plan presentation and panel interview. Immediately, I was turned off from the position. A lot of companies over-complicate the hiring process. Most employers already have other jobs and it is very difficult to even find time to book an interview with a prospective company. Keep the interview process simple. You may lose good canditates.
