Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en Robert Half (Charlotte, NC) en jun 2012

      Entrevista

Was initially contacts by a recruiter over the phone. Then I was ask to come in for a face to face with the recruiter. I usually don't like to meet recruiters or give them references to contact before they send me on interviews, but I was out of work for a month and wanted to stay in North Carolina. I waited almost an hour before the recruiter was able to talk to me. The recruiter and his immediate manager were kind and knowledgeable. They seem very interested in getting me a job. They ask me about my past salary history which I did not like, since I knew they were going to only try and bump up a little so they can keep more of the money they charge the client for my services. The next day they called to schedule an face to face interview with a premier client in Charlotte a few days later. They never told me the location of the client, just that I would have a face to face in RH office. I get to the office, they finally tell me where the meeting was to be held. So I had to reshedule the meeting for a couple hours later. The interview with the client went very well. They showed me around the office, before the technical interview. Typical questions, about test case writing, writing sql queries etc. A couple days after the interview, RH recruiter calls to tell me that I have made it to the final round for a panel interview. I spent two hours of my life, fielding questions, asking questions, given them a demonstration of my skill set. Let the interview feeling confident that I got the job. RH recruiters calls and tells me that Im at the top of the list for the position, and that they are waiting for the paper work. A couple days afterwards, RH recruiter calls me into the office and ask me would I take the position for 5 dollars an hour less, then what I asked for we I agreed to when I allowed RH to represent me. Of course I told me, that I can not go for anything less than what I asked for. A week passes, I hear nothing from RH. I call, and the recruiter says that they are still finalizing the paper work and that no one else is being interview. Basically stopping short of saying that you been offered the job. I cancelled other interviews with other companies so not to burn bridges. Another 2 weeks passes, don't hear nothing from RH. So I go online to RH website, and what did I find out? They re-posted the position. I call RH, the recruiter would not speak to me. Kept calling, recruiter is busy and will call you back. I go to the office, I see the recruiter in his office and he sees me but pretend like he doesnt. The lady at the front desk says that he is not seeing anyone today. About month later this same recruiter calls me for another job opportunity. Guess he forgot what he did to me. i gave him one short sentence in response. Don't you or anyone at RH ever call me again. Worst contract agency ever.
