The 20-something interviewer looked over my 25 years of Bookkeeping and administrative experience and asked me what he should tell prospective employers when they asked why I had only been working temp jobs for the past few years. (HELLO- THIS IS A TEMP AGENCY) I explained that I lost my full time job in 2009 when my company downsized and because company's were not hiring due to the recession, I had taken temp work while continuing to look for a permanent job. He said the recession ended in 2009. Really? That was in 2012 and I never went back to Accountemps, although I had previously been happy with work I got with them. They need to hire more intelligent interviewers.
