Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 2 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Rituals

      Entrevista

Unfortunately, cannot recommend - sadly it was the worst recruitment process I have ever had. The whole interview process had 5 phases: pre-screening call with local HR, call with global HR, interview with key stakeholders, case study and the final interview with GM & HR. It was an overall easy process and the global HR Manager was very professional & nice, but everything took so long - more than 2 months from the 1st to the final call. However, that’s not the point. The point is, the final interview was, unfortunately, highly unprofessional. From this kind of company, thriving on balance and self care, I did not expect questions regarding my private life (which are illegal by the way), but it happened - not once, not twice. I left the interview with a feeling that the company is biased towards women that dare to have a family life outside work. Surprisingly enough, the questions came from women who have kids themselves. They also clearly suggested that the workload is huge and who they are looking for is someone „disposable” (meaning willing to work more than what is stayed in the contract). If so, why they even wasted my time knowing from the start that I’m returning to work from my maternity leave? Why I needed to take part in 5 calls, spending sleepless nights over the case study when they knew from the start they are looking for someone without family responsabilities? The interview also left me with the thought I will never be hired by any company because I’m a parent and cannot spend more than 8h at work due to my caregiver responsabilities. Fortunately that was not true and soon I got my dream job at the most amazing company, really living D&I values. Sorry Rituals, but the clash between what you stand for and what some of your Leadership is doing, is huge. Might be worth to consider some professional trainings touching D&I in the recruitment process and in general.
