I was surprised that the interview began with a notification,on Zoom, that it would be recorded, without prior mention from the interviewer or mention when we started. This made me feel that declining the recording would have ended the interview. During the interview, interviewer appeared distracted and did not maintain engagement, which left me feeling undervalued. After the interview, it required two follow-up emails to receive a response, which was generic and indicated the position was filled, despite previous statements about ongoing hiring plans. I was left me questioning whether my interview was conducted as a formality rather than a genuine opportunity.
