This interview was probably one of the most unprofessional interviews I've ever had... and as a lover of Riot, that surprises me. I was a big fan of Riot and it's values and was hoping that it's employees were equally as excited to work for such a great company. That was not the case with my interviewee .. first off, she did not even introduce herself. She just jumped right into the questions which took me off guard. She was very rude throughout the whole interview. As I was answering the questions, I was very excited to interview and she shot my confidence and told me to calm down. She asked me a few questions and when I asked her to elaborate she just gave me a new question. Towards the end, I asked her about the company and you could tell she could have cared less. I asked her about work environment and she ignored everything about values and history and said the best part about working for Riot was the cafeteria. It was obvious she did wasn't a part of the gaming community but geez. Communication was also bad, I was told I'd get responses towards the end of the week but just got radio silence for about two in between responses. I know this doesn't represent the company as a whole but wanted to go ahead and warn others about my experience. There are employees that are excited to work for a company and employees that are just there for a paycheck and sadly, I ended up getting the paycheck one.

I had a phone screening, had to write a personal development assignment, a pre-interview call, and 3 interviews that were an hour long each. It was a long process for a coordinator role, but I don't regret going through it! The team was really polite and kind throughout the interview process.

I Interviewed for a Recruiting Coordinator Position for an Unpublished R&D Project with the lead recruiter First of all since it was a contract job they did not offer relocation. was 10 Minutes Late for the Phone call after asking to reschedule by 30 Minutes. Was overall a great interview beside the fact that she didn't read my resume or cover letter at all. by the end of the phone call she said she was going to get back to her team about flying me out and that I would hear something back within the week.(False Hope) I had an informal call with my recruiting coordinator after that just for a brief overview of the role and what I could walk into expecting. When I had gotten close to the end of the call she told me to don't feel bad if I don't get it this time to reapply later. Which made me think they already had a different candidate in mind. ( She didn't know I was taking a 20,000 pay cut and moving cross country for this opportunity which I will not be doing next year.) The punctuality of my lead Recruiter was very apparent she emailed me 6 minutes before we were supposed to have our first interview and asked to reschedule it by 30 minutes, Which was fine but then she was also 10 minutes late for that. On 2 occasions within the 3-4 weeks I've been in the process she said well get back to you within the end of the week, Which I had to follow up after she had missed that deadline. All and all though this has for sure given me insight into this was a good decision that I didn't get this role, Because
it is my dream to work in the gaming industry and working for riot would be awesome but this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth after waiting almost 3 years to interview for a role that I am overqualified for and then be lead on with false hope just to get a generic rejection with no constructive criticism.
