At the technical interview, I was asked about Big Data basics, how Map Reduce works, Spark features. Also, we talked a lot about my previous experience in the context of the tech stack - NoSQL databases, SQL databases, Spark. There were analytics questions like the difference between clusterization and classification because the position included the need to build some analytics Pros: The whole interview was in a very friendly atmosphere. Technical questions were fine and I had a great time. Cons: Analytical questions were one of the reasons I did not like the project. And it was not mentioned in the position I was interviewed by analysts and PM, but not Data Engineers and I did not want to be a single Data Engineer in a team as well. I mentioned that my primary language is Scala in the CV and at the interview but their project was in Python.
