I'd like to start with saying that Grace is an excellent recruiter! She explained the interview process thoroughly. There were no surprises as I moved through each round nor when I was given an offer!
The interview process at Ribbon is straightforward. There were 3 rounds: (1) hiring manager/ technical screening, (2) pair programming, and (3) system design/ behavioral screening. I could tell that lots of effort was put into preparing a meaningful interview process for candidates. Preparing for each interview wasn't a nightmare; I didn't feel as if Ribbon was purposely hiding details to make my experience more difficult than it needed to be. My interviews were informed by my professional background (meaning I didn't get hit with left field questions that had nothing to do with my past experiences at all). Each interviewer was kind, knowledgable, and empathetic. The Ribbon culture shined brightly through each person I met. I could tell that they were most concerned with how I problem solve rather than how well I could memorize syntax or patterns. Kudos to Ribbon for the pair programming session! It's the best coding interview I've had in my career so far.
Keep doing what you're doing, Ribbon! Making the decision to accept my offer with Ribbon was a no-brainer after completing such a positive, engaging process!

Call with the recruiter then a call with the hiring manger, technical assessment then didn't progress forward after that, good communication from the recruiter though, he was nice although he didn't sit in the NY office.
