I was quickly brought in to meet with HR, the person I would be directly reporting to, a panel interview, and then my last step was to be meeting with the SVP. That was…awkward to say the least: her disdain was pretty clear and I’m not completely sure why. Before that interview, HR stated they would make the offer before the holidays. The day after my SVP ‘meet and greet’, the position was reposted. I reached out, silence. I took the other job that was offered (glad I did) and HR got back to me stating they ‘needed more time’ and wanted to wait with no specific feedback on why. A week or so later and I got a typical ‘thanks but no thanks.’ The kicker: one of the women who interviewed me on the panel is in the role now. Absolutely unprofessional.
