Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 5 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Revolut (Londres, Inglaterra) en jun 2024
Entrevista
There were 6 stages across about 4-5 weeks which assessed knowledge, problem-solving and culture. I met with various people and the recruiters also check-in and give feedback at various stages.

Give an example of something you worked on that failed
They rushed me through meetings with multiple people over just four days, then completely ghosted me without providing any feedback. On top of that, the task I was given had no real connection to the role I had applied for.

There are 6 stages — Revolut appears to be hiring multiple full-stack Product Marketing Managers, and after all stages, you’re assigned to a project squad based on both assessment and expertise.
1. Recruiter Screening: Standard experience and background questions.
2. Skill Interview: Peer-style interview; I spoke with a senior PMM who was very friendly and engaging.
3. Take-Home Assessment: Asked to create a GTM plan for Revolut’s already-launched Virtual Single-use Cards product.
Prep & Feedback Call: After passing the assessment, you get detailed feedback on your performance and prior interview results. They also help you prepare for the next stage.
4. Problem-Solving Case Study (45 mins): The interview is split — 30 minutes for tackling a live business case (mine was to recommend partners for a strategic partnership). You must clarify the objective early, then follow a logical framework (they suggest studying MECE beforehand). It’s highly subjective: data and info are provided only if you ask specifically, which feels almost like blind matching to their expected approach. I found the challenge engaging but ultimately did not pass this round.
5. Bar Raiser Stage: If you succeed, you’re invited to an elevated interview to push for top standards.
6. Hiring Manager Interview: Final fit and team alignment conversation.

Problem-Solving Case Study: If you were given a £5 million budget for a strategic partnership in the UK market, which partner(s) would you recommend?
Pretty embarrassing and rude. Recruiters love themselves and can’t help but share their advice mid interview. I wasn’t kept in the loop if I was in or out (but that’s pretty standard)
