I was contacted by a sourcer on linkedin. After agreeing go hear more about the offer he instantly sent me a link so I can book a slot for an interview. It was a screening call with a recruiter from India. The recruiter was speaking way too fast and not too clear, I was having difficulties to understand her, eventhough I am working daily in an international environment with multiple calls with colleagues from India and never had such issues. The recruiter was also 6 minutes late for the meeting and claimed that I wasnt there before. I have received few questions regarding my experience and roles I was hiring for before. The call took 10 minutes and there was close to 0 report building from the recruiter side. The next day I have received an email stating that my profile doesnt match what the company is looking for. A bad joke. The recruitment team has about 200 people and one of their main targets is the amount of interview per week. They call themselves data-driven, but it looks more like a 90s call center where you are just a number and you have to provide numbers instead of quality. Do not waste your time.

Devastating to see as someone interviewing for the Talent team - this is the type of experience that gives Recruiters a bad wrap. Completed a 40 minute assessment before even having a conversation. I moved to the next round for a Recruiter Screen only to be ghosted after multiple follow ups.

Passed multiple stages and did not receive feedback. I have been contacted multiple times on linkedin by different recruiters with the same position but they disappeared after a question about previous interview process outcome

After I applied online. I was asked without a first introduction call to complete an online assessment. I prepared for that assessment but since I could not do it from a laptop I asked for the deadline to be extended. I was then gosthed by the recruiter who never answered my emails and Linkedin inmails.
This is quite a bitter experience : being asked to prepare for a test without a first chat and then being ignored. A simple "No we can't extend the test deadline" would have done the job. Not quite the recruitment process described online.
In 2026 caring for the candidate experience is key to keep the employer branding safe. Wishing you to find the suitable candidate who will challenge your current practices.
