It was brief and to the point. The DON and ADON were friendly and obviously in need of staff. I had a nearly 5 year gap in my job history in the field of nursing. This concerned the DON. The ADON albeit, my previous experience was nearly 5 years ago, felt that it was solid and relevant to the job in which I would be filling. The DON, then agreed with the ADON. I was then hired on the spot. That day I took my drug screen and filled out all pre employment paper work. I felt they were in need of staff, but not willing to just hire anyone. They seemed to care about the patients/residents and the well being of the facility.
