I endured a hectic 6 stage interview process before they cut me loose. I would have declined another round. Each conversation I had started with, “I don’t know why I’m talking to you but tell me about yourself…” and then ended with, “I don’t make any decisions but you’ll hear back about next steps.” Each time I had to follow up aggressively to ask. It was stressful as they were so disorganized. If this was any preview as to what it would look like working with them or for them I had decided I wanted nothing to do with it. In the meanwhile if you’re in NYC, they require you to come in office and work til 5:30 but literally everyone else on the team works remotely. This kind of hypocrisy is unacceptable.
