Pretty basic interview. Nothing special. The owner was a nice guy and definitely seemed like someone good to work for. The only issue was they were offering 65k a year for a Video Producer role..... in New York City. The ad originally said 55-60k. Imagine doing all aspects of video production for that amount of money, the amount that basically an Associate Producer would make at a company with an actual video team. You're being asked to start a department at literally a salary that you could make as a freelancer in 6 months out of the year. They said they had another employee tell them that rate was appropriate, but clearly they have never worked in video production. Honestly an insulting salary
