Me postulé a través de una recomendación de un empleado. Acudí a una entrevista en Remitly (Mandaluyong, Rizal) en ago 2022

      Entrevista

Mandaluyong, Manila Philippines, recruitment 1. Initial Assessment (process-related) - applied 8/11, HR responded a day after. 2. Initial Interview (with HR) - basic interview questions, the usual screening process via phone call 3. Final Interview (Panelists: TJ T. and Jay O.) via Zoom Onset of the interview panelists did not introduce themselves hence I confirmed their names. They go straight to the questions. I was asked 15-20 situational and behavioral questions in total, which was thrown at me left and right. I started out great but was distracted by the fact that I felt interrogated, I was so conscious of when will the questions be over, or how many questions left for me to answer. They proceeded with their questions by saying, "ok my next question is..while they are reading it from their laptops. They don't branch out their questions from my answers. They were stern the whole time and I felt like they are just waiting for my mistake. I felt like I am applying for a Managerial position or I am speaking with a terror boss. They discussed what I did great and what I didn't, it was 2-3 sentences. long. They put me on hold for about 2 minutes and told me that I didn't pass the interview and they are upfront about it(which I appreciate) but I felt so bad on the overall interview. I will still apply for the Risk Investigator or Fraud Specialist or anything that is under the umbrella or Trust and Safety since this are the type of positions I really wanted to be working in and devote my time to on other companies; but I can't recommend Remitly's final interview process. I hope they introduce Remitly first, then introduce themselves and make the applicant feel at ease rather compartmentalizing themselves on their laptops. I felt that they are more concerned about the questions being answered "correctly" rather than knowing the person as a whole. They based their judgement on the interview alone and not on the total package. I have had a lot of interviews before but Remitly has been my worst, so far. But I am still thankful that I have gone through that experience, I have learned something from it - to overprepare.

      Preguntas de entrevista [1]

      Pregunta 1

Tell me about a time that you failed. Tell me about a time that you disagreed with your boss. Tell me about a time that you help someone. These are not the exact questions but all are situational and behavioral questions.
