I spoke to the recruiter and was then told the first stage is an immediate tech task that I won't be compensated for unless I get the job. I emailed back to say I did not feel comfortable investing hours of my time in a tech task when I had not even spoken to anyone in the company to know if this job is even the right fit for me? I was then ignored. Companies that think to give a tech task straight away before even speaking to anyone does not care about you as a person or for your time

The interview process was extremely long and unproductive. The role stayed open for more than three months, and the entire process took over two months with multiple rounds. In the end, the rejection felt generic and unrelated to the effort invested. There also seems to be no actual QA team in place despite the position being advertised for a long time, which raises questions about the purpose and structure of the recruitment process. Several candidates, including myself, went through assessments that resembled real work, yet no hires were made. Overall, the experience felt misleading and not respectful of candidates’ time.
