The process started with an hour-long technical/behavioral phone screen with an engineer. I felt the call went fairly well and the recruiter had told me beforehand that he would follow up shortly after. I emailed the recruiter a week later to check in on the status of my candidacy and continued to do so over the following 3 weeks with absolutely no response. Finally received a generic rejection email a full four weeks later with no feedback. I realize that there are many candidates under consideration by the recruiting team but overall the lack of communication from the recruiter was very unprofessional. Redfin should make sure that their interview process is transparent and that their recruiters are giving candidates a good experience.
