Got a call arranged for me in a few days after I applied online. There were 4 developers on the panel. 3 of them never said a word, so it was quite weird. "Main developer" asked me a few general CS questions, like bigO for balanced trees and etc. Honestly the feeling was like they havent prepared at all. I expected questions about security, app performance, something related to they main profile, but instead it was like: - Did you experience problems with TS interfaces recently? - Nothing like that. Could you give me an example? - Oh, I dont remember Well if you don't remember why asked? 😀 My overall feelings - they have quite bad organisation processes (oh yes, they never emailed me rejection letter, basically anything, just complete quiet after the interview). Random questions, random people on the panel. They couldn't answer my questions about the company ( I asked if the can install their services inside organisation corporate network, didn't get any reasonable answer). I asked why did they choose Rust over other languages, because it has quite high learning curve, the answer was "well I hate the way Opera renders Golang tabs indentation and Rust better than Ruby because it helps with global warming". Ok.
