Had an initial phone screen and they decided to move forward with an on-site interview for a first round. I met with some of the team I would be working closely with. The office space is great. I followed up with the recruiter about next steps, did not hear back for a week. Had to follow up multiple times to get a reply. Poor candidate experience.

Terrible. My initial recruiter screen lacked any kind of enthusiasm with zero knowledge of the role. I went on to speak to the hiring manager, who was almost 10 minutes late to our call and didn’t even acknowledge their tardiness. Some people actually take time off to interview, so a little respect for their time would be nice. The HM went on and on about how many other candidates they were interviewing for this role. That’s great and all, but it’s really not something you should be bragging about or throwing in someone’s face. I elected not to move forward with the process. There’s something off with this company.
