      Entrevista

      The interview process involved meeting the CEO, the CRO, the CTO and doing a case study. All interviews were great and the conversations went well but midway through the interview cycles I was informed by the CTO that he wasn't in favour of this role and he had a different strategic direction. On many occasions, my interviews were rescheduled but I understand that as people get busy. After giving my final presentation, I was told that it went well but they needed time to review everything before extending an offer. Eventually I got the rejection e-mail from the CRO who indicated that the role had shifted to a more engineering management role rather than the sales one. It's a smaller company and I understand that these things happen but it would have been better if they had stuck to the initial ask and role requirements and not changed strategic direction midway. It takes a lot of effort to do the case interview and presentation. They also mentioned that they weren't sure if I would be good enough for a smaller firm (comparatively) like theirs after working many years in large enterprises which I found to be strange again as this was known to them before hand. The leadership is quite friendly and I'm sure they are a great bunch to work with but decisiveness is important when selecting candidates.
