The Ramsey organization employs very thorough and highly intrusive interview processes. First off you MUST schedule a Zoom, video interview where you are screened on age (they discriminate against older workers), general appearance and personality with these standard HR inane questions such as: "What is your greatest accomplishment" or, "What are your biggest strengths and weaknesses?" And these interviews are conducted by Gen Z children on the lower ranks of Ramsey's organization. For creatives seeking to join Ramsey Solutions, your past work product is not judged beforehand, rather they are seeking certain personality types to fit into their huge 'club" which is dominated by Evangelical Christian types (not that there's anything wrong about them BTW) only that this stuff becomes confused into the work environment there in a heavy way. On the next step/s you are given a personality psych quiz, which they say doesn't influence their hiring perspective, but in reality, how you score on it heavily does, else they would not require it With some creative positions they require an ability test of some sort. And then finally you are subjected to a series of Zoom video meetings with their so-called 'team leaders' who are all putting questions to you. This is a very 'cultish' organization, heavily influenced by Dave Ramsey's evangelical Christian background. The top management and leaders of Ramsey Solutions all share the same outlook and very rigid beliefs. Ramsey's openly states that his recruitment process is 'tough' and 'comprehensive' and it truly is. I would greatly recommend this place to lower level office and management types as he provides decent paying employment in an area (Nashville TN) that is economically depressed. But as for higher-level creatives (of all types) this is not a place I think anyone would flourish as their programing is highly regimented (from the top). Dave Ramsey has publicly stated on his radio show that he is setting up his organization for his departure--but when that happens this place is going to fold up, like Walt Disney departing (dying) Walt Disney Productions in the 60's. They are in essence a 'one trick pony' with their vertical one-track messaging on 'financial stability' --but this mainly revolves around Ramsey himself, who is the face and driving force around this messaging. The new faces they are brining in will not fill the void once Ramsey leaves.
