I applied online for the 'Customer Success Manager' position and received an email from a current employee to set up the initial interview. I spoke with an employee who mentioned they had only been working with RallyUp for 3 months, had no personal connection to Customer Success, and also was conducting the "interview" because their role was one of wearing many hats and they were strapped for resources.
The employee scheduled a call for only 15 minutes and we had a pleasant chat, albeit short. They thought that my SaaS consulting background among other things would translate well to the position, however they asked little about my experience and didn't leave enough time for meaningful conversation.
After the interview, they ghosted me for almost two weeks, at which point I received an error-strewn email informing me that they would not continue forward. I reached out one more time for some constructive feedback and to inquire if the position had already been filled, but they again did not respond. If this is how the company chooses to conduct interviews, I guess I'm a little relieved I didn't spend more time moving forward with them.
