Initially, I applied online without much of a thought - after all, I was just sort of spaghetti-throwing out job applications and hoping one stuck - but after about two weeks I got an e-mail from a RadioShack SM asking if I was interested in an interview. I showed up (looking nice!) to the store in question, where I met the SM and DM who conducted the actual interview. It was pleasant enough. They explained the basics of the job, and asked a few basic questions like "Describe an interaction with an unpleasant customer", asked me about my experience with electronics, etc. After the interview was completed, they offered me the position and I accepted. The next step is a background check/SSN check, and due to some snafus I'm still waiting on my hiring packet.
