Two calls with a recruiter at the company. Call #1 was just a screener. We discussed my qualifications, salary requirements, and a little bit about the job. Call #2 was more focused on giving me a deeper view of what the company was all about. Very friendly and low pressure.
The next call was with the hiring manager in the dept. He was extremely personable and knowledgeable. We discussed my qualifications and the job responsibilities very thoroughly. A pleasure to talk with.
The next call was with a lead on the team. She was also extremely friendly and fun. She was able to give me even deeper details about the day-to-day of the position.
All of this took place over 3 days and was actually a pleasure.
The culture seemed great and I believe I would have generated an offer, but I decided to decline because I am looking for something with at least SOME programming.
This would be a great gig for someone else and I would absolutely consider re-applying for a more technical role in the future.
