I interviewed at Raaka and I thought it went really well until I got ghosted. It seemed we were building rapport and it could be a great fit. I did a paid training then they went ghost. No rejection letter no response to my professional follow ups. Total silence. The weirdest thing was they did pay me for the training but never communicated how that would be done and they sent pay to wrong email on paypal because again NO communication - then when I emailed to have it corrected and they sent the pay to the correct email with Zero correspondence - just WOW. Super cold but also unprofessional and immature. Again no rejection letter- just payment for training w/out any feedback after establishing a relationship! This is a big big red flag of a toxic work place. Its a good thing I didn't get hired we are definitely at odds with how to end the conversation especially when I work in the industry and a relationship dynamic is still at play. Bad move but in the end I'm happy I dodged that bullet.
