My qualifications were submitted to the hiring manager at the beginning of the month. Three weeks later I heard back and had an interview promptly set up. I met with the hiring manager for an hour. She asked me some fair questions about my background and discussed the position with me. I sent a follow up thank you note which she appreciated. Three days later I was informed that Raytheon was planning to go forward with an offer. I had a brief phone screen with an HR rep and about a week later I received a formal offer. Then I had to wait until my background check cleared. The process took about three weeks. I also had to take a drug test. All of the people I interviewed with were very nice and polite.
