I applied in 2018 for an Internal Audit position and again in 2019 for the Economics and Policy Advisor position. I withdrew my application in 2018 due to getting an offer with Amazon that paid more, and then I left Amazon in 2019 and thought I’d re-apply to RSM. The interview process was actually fairly simple on both occasions, with the questions asked at the video interview role being different due to the different roles I applied for (note in both intake cycles I did not attend the final interview/assessment centre). I remember doing the online application which asked fairly simple questions and then the video interview where you had 2 minutes to prepare before 1 of the 5 questions that got asked, and then you have to answer them in looking directly at your laptop. On both occasions I got to the final stage but in my 2019 application I was unable to attend the assessment centre due to a pre-booked holiday. They had no other dates available which was very annoying, so I contacted the recruiter to see if there were any other roles available at their Manchester office and they said no, all roles in Manchester had been filled. I had to withdraw my application for a second time. Overall, I am fairly dissatisfied.
