      Entrevista

The process started with a phone interview with a recruiter. This was followed by a Skype interview with the same recruiter and a member of the HR department. I was then invited to the office, where I received a tour, took a few tests, and had my final interview. I was given an offer two days later. The interview process was as thorough as advertised. However, the recruiters were kind and professional throughout each stage.

      Entrevista

I was initially contacted for a phone interview that lasted 30 minutes. It went well and I was scheduled to come in for testing. The rigorous testing was a combination of personality, analytical skills and a typing test. It lasted for two hours and I spent the majority of the time locked away in a small testing room in an eerily quiet office. Within a week, I was asked to come in for an in-person interview. I met with several personable and knowledgeable people in one of their conference rooms. The whole process lasted over an hour. After this, I was given a book and told to read it before yet another interview. I read the whole book (150+ pages) before the next interview and even took notes. The next interview was with a small panel of people, most of whom I'd met in my previous interview. They asked several questions, but nothing specifically from the book. I was lead to believe that this final interview was a formality leading up to the offer. Each time I was contacted was by phone, never more than a few days after my last. My interviews were about 10 days apart. This last interview was right before Thanksgiving and I was told it might be a little longer to hear back about a decision. Well over a week later, I received an email from my main HR contact informing me that they had not chosen to extend me an offer. It came as a surprise given the nearly 3 month interview process I had undergone. I might have taken this personally, but I was offended that I did not at least get a phone call with the news after such a long process.

      Pregunta 1

They asked a lot of questions about times that I had been analytical or for demonstrations of how analytical I was. It seems a bit literal, given the position title.
