      Entrevista

Consisted of an email asking to pick a time listed on the email to come in to do a skills assessment. Came in to the Call Center and did a typing, customer service, math, and email test. Was told after I was done if I passed or not and was asked if available to do an interview right then.

      Entrevista

Phone interview with HR rep. After which she asked if I would come in and take some tests. These consisted of: Customer Service skills, 20-25 questions, multiple choice; Math Test, 40 questions (you can use a calculator - a lot of percentages); and a typing test, which was easy - you just have to look at a line below where are you typing and type what's there, example: "Mr. John Q. Smith". Each of the tests were timed. I had plenty of time to do all. After I completed the tests, the HR person told me I had passed and asked if I could come back the next day for an interview. When I came back, there was a LOT of waiting around. I had to re-fill-out the application I'd already done on line. (Annoying) After that, I interviewed with 2 team leader and the HR rep. They took turns asking questions like: Tell me when you had to make a difficult decision - how did you approach the problem; Have you ever presented an idea to a boss, and they didn't like or implement this - how did you handle this. All of their questions were based around their CORE values, which are posted on the web - so read these ahead. But, the real kicker is that this was a huge waste of time for me. The HR rep did not tell me that the Customer Service Advocates would be 'bidding' on shifts every quarter, based on a ranking system. I figured that after training, the employees would be given a shift, and that's it. I can't uproot my child's life every quarter - or, frankly, don't wish to stress about it every quarter...so I basically said, "This won't work for me.... thanks for the interview." The HR lady was stunned. They called me back the next day and asked if I would be interested in part time, which I was, but after a week on internal issues, the management decided they didn't wish to hire part timers (which is fine with me, as I wasn't really all that interested in the drive.) Something about this place rang a little fishy, as far as how they treat their employees, but I can't really put my finger on it. The job pays $11 per hour.
