Recruiter reached out to me and I was excited to work for REI. Only had one call with the recruiter who seemed impressed with my background. Asked how many "years of experience" I had with like 25 different technologies, which was a bit weird for certain things where quote-on-quote YoE aren't really applicable or it's not easy to ascertain exactly how many YoE I had. I followed up with the recruiter to say I was excited to continue and never heard back from him directly. I received a canned, automated rejection email informing me I was no longer in consideration a few days later. I emailed the recruiter to ask for feedback and/or if there were any other roles -- or for any sort of human response -- and got no response at all. Completely ghosted. I also submitted an application for a different role the same day and received a rejection email within minutes.
