The RBC Investment Banking interview experience starts with submitting your resume and cover letter, followed by a screening from HR to assess your academics and relevant experience. The first-round interview is usually a mix of behavioral questions about teamwork, leadership, and motivation, along with technical questions on accounting, valuation, and M&A basics. If you advance, you attend a Superday or final round, where you rotate through multiple back-to-back interviews with VPs, Directors, and Analysts, sometimes tackling a mini case or modeling exercise. Afterward, interviewers consolidate feedback, and HR contacts you with a decision. Offers typically arrive within a few weeks, including a competitive base salary plus bonus.
