      Entrevista

I applied for this position after Christmas. Got a personal assessment after about 2 weeks. They said if they decide I would move forward to the next step, they would contact me within 2 and half weeks. But that recruiter never contacted me. Instead, there was another one contacted me after 3 weeks and surprisingly he asked me whether I am interested in a higher level position. I said yes and he asked me a few questions regarding customer services and sales and why rbc and my understanding of this position. It took 8 minutes to answer them. At the end of our conversation, he invited me to do another phone interview with him after 2 days. The 2nd phone interview contained behavioural questions such as tell me a time when you went above and beyond for a customer, how did you handle a difficult customer. And some general questions such as why rbc, why you are qualified for this job, why was your greatest achievement in your last job, why you left your last job and etc. At the end of the phone interview, he gave me the face to face interview opportunity with two managers and also sent me another online assessment about sales. I prepared for one week and went to the interview. I brought my recently updated resume and business card designed by myself, which I think made them impressed. So I highly recommend everyone to do so. During the interview they wanted to create a relaxed environment for you to be able to present the best of you. Lots of get to know each other. Went through my resume. Asked about my sales experience and my understanding about sales. Why I think they would choose me instead of other competitors. And some behavioural questions like what I did in the 2nd phone interview. Also did a role play about cold call. At the end was language test, because I mentioned I am fluent in three languages. They checked about 7-10 simply questions such as what do you usually do on weekends, what is your favorite sport, how did you learned this language, how do you practice it and so on... So don't lie if you are not fluent in some languages, they will find out. At the end of the conversation, the managers asked me whether I will mind starting from a client advisor position if I didn't get this position. I said I don't mind at all, as long as I have the opportunity to prove my ability, I believe I can move from bottom to a senior position. 2 days after the interview, I got a call from hr and said the position goes to someone has more banking experience but they are glad to offer me a client advisor position. I took it since that was the position I applied for originally...
