I was emailed a "cognitive and personality assessment" without speaking to a recruiter for a data entry clerk position. I haven't taken any types of assessments like this unless it was for a minimum wage retail or fast food job. I was initially insulted but decided to take it anyway since I needed a job. 10 days later, I get an email stating "we have selected other candidates for this project". I should have just passed on this instead of wasting my time.
