Me postulé a través de un reclutador. Acudí a una entrevista en Quest Diagnostics (Columbia, SC) en jun 2010
Entrevista
I interviewed with the branch manager and phlebotomy supervisor. They asked me about my experience, number of sticks I'd performed, asked me to identify/describe several types of needles, tubes, tests, etc. Ultimately, at the end of the interview, I had to draw blood from the phlebotomy supervisor. I have never before or since had to do that in an interiew and I respected her dedication to her job.

Seems like they interview many people, but it was relatively quick. They focused a lot on how you handle high volume and high stress work environments. I was asked about the order of draw so know that!

You wait in the waiting room, then meet and greet, and simply sit in an office and begin the interview. Very few questions were asked and the majority of the time the interviewer is explaining different parts of the job! It’s more of a an opportunity to get a feel for the type of person you are. But I can’t promise this because I think it depends on who is interviewing you. My advice is just be genuine , honest, and sincere. Don’t stress out too much about saying the right thing because the interviewer will usually be able to tell when you are extremely nervous or not being honest.
