Me postulé a través de un reclutador. Acudí a una entrevista en Quantiphi
Entrevista
Recruiter reached out to me after going through my LinkedIn profile. I then forwarded my CV to an India-based recruiter, referred by the former.
The recruiter briefed the process and the role expectations at an overall level. But what took me by surprise was how adhoc the whole process was with the recruiter. He used to call at random times of the day and on weekends asking if I have sometime to talk. And then ghost me for a period of time and not be responsive.
And then come back saying how he had a particularly hectic week and apologize. Made me wonder if senior execs' recruitment is handled this way how could company culture be at the ground level.
Then I spoke to a Regional Head at the company who was knowledgeable and flexible. The interview was rescheduled twice - once the day before and the other time on the day of the interview, and I was not even sure if I want to work there anymore looking at how unprofessionally everything was handled.
I cleared that round and spoke to one more senior Regional Head and this time the process was handled better. I dint clear this round and was actually happy I dint, for I wasn't sure what to expect from the way things work there.

Pregunta 1
1. Tell me about yourself
2. Background and Role fit
The interview process seems typical based on the explanation I was provided during my interview. It sounds like this is a relatively new role with Quantiphi and they want to ensure the select the right candidates which they plan to do with many interviews throughout the process. I had a recruiter approach me and after my initial interview, a second interview was scheduled with a C-level member of the company. After learning more about Quantiphi, I was very excited at the prospect of joining the team. Having said this, my interview did not go as well as I had planned and I didn't expect to move forward after this interview. What I DID expect was a certain level of professionalism with a follow-up to my candidate status by the date I was told I would be provided with an update. Not only did HR fail to get back to me within the defined time frame, she did not get back to me period despite two follow-up emails I sent to her. Quantiphi uses an HCM platform so it requires almost no effort to inform a candidate if they are no longer under consideration. They could not even be bothered to change my application status. Given the overall lack of respect for their candidate's time, I don't think this is a company I would want to work for.
