The interviewer admitted she was not closely tied to the AE function, asked questions that were not relevant to the role, and seemed disengaged throughout. The recruiter also suggested I could be considered for another opportunity if this one did not work out, but then sent a generic rejection email with no mention of it. Overall, the process felt misleading, poorly aligned, and unprofessional.
