Had an initial call with HR, then was asked to complete a writing test. After that, I was asked to move on to a video interview with the hiring manager. Despite being told that I would hear from them by the end of the week, I was completely ghosted with no rejection or feedback. After four polite follow up emails I’ve given up. In a time when so many people are looking for jobs, it seems like it would be common decency to reach out and let a candidate know that you’re not moving forward with them, especially after they’ve spent time researching, interviewing, and completing a written assessment. Completely inappropriate and unprofessional.
