The process started with a case study and then over a 3 month period, almost 8 interviews were conducted with multiple people in the Qualcomm ventures team around the globe. Each interview was primarily focused on understanding my experience in VC , the potential sectors I was bullish on for investment, why Qualcomm and the educational background.

Typically questions, several rounds, wanting to find a good culture fit. Hybrid expectations for the role for a fast paced position. Looking for background and experience in tech or similar sectors.

What was one time that had to overcome a challenge?

1. Lack of communication: Throughout the process, there was a notable absence of communication from the recruiter regarding scheduling, post-interview follow-ups, and general correspondence. All my questions and follow-ups to the recruiter went unanswered.
2. Being ghosted by interviewer: Despite accommodating a late-night interview with their Senior Director sitting in the West Coast, I was left waiting for 30 minutes without any contact or explanation. Subsequent three follow-up emails were disregarded, leaving me feeling unrespected and undervalued as a candidate.
Such behavior is not common practice and has been disappointing to personally experience.
