I was contacted by a recruiter in June 2023. She scheduled a call on a Saturday by mistake. Let her know about the error and moved it to a Friday. The same Friday she told me the job opening was closed. 3 months later, a colleague of this recruiter tells me the position has been re-opened. Scheduled a call, but I instantly realized the recruiter didn't see or didn't understand my resume; she said I had 5 years of experience because that's the amount of time I've been in my current role, which is of course not my first job. She asked me a couple of questions about my background and I decided to stop the call right there.
