Entrevista
This was one of the stranger interviews I've ever had. The recruiter who called me was very friendly, but also reading off a script the entire time. At first it gave me the energy that this was some sort of scam, but while it isn't (Pushpay is a legitimate company) it was a weird note to start off on. It was just typical interview questions, nothing special. Lot of questions on strengths, weaknesses and system familiarity. If you are actively interviewing nothing should be a surprise or throw you off. They then said there is a written component to the interview process, when I was sent over the document I immediately decided it wasn't for me. It is a three part assignment. That said, you will be asked to review their public site and make suggestions and revisions to existing work. I am typically not one to do work for free, so that was a deal breaker for me. They also ask for previously written work, so if you don't have access to your previous material due to NDAs or confidentiality agreements, you likely won't be able to move on past this stage anyways.

I had a very positive experience interviewing with PushPay. They are very intentional in their hiring process, and I was pleasantly surprised to realize how diverse the company is despite it working mostly with churches. You will have the initial recruiter interview, a peer interview, and then a hiring manager interview. Some people I talked to had worked there 7/8 years and seemed happy to work for them. I got another job offer before they finished all their interviews of other candidates and unfortunately wasn't given any kind of counter offer for the timeline I was on, but I went from being skeptical about working here (I'm atheist and very liberal) to really hoping they would have sent me an offer of some kind. Regardless, I wish them all the best in finding the best person for the job and would recommend people put in an application if they're thinking about it!
