The interview was arranged after being shortlisted in a coding competition(Blume Fellowship 2017) hosted by Venturesity.
Topics focused in during the interview were basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, projects listed in the resume, understanding of how HTTP works, and questions on PHP.

What is the difference between echo and print in PHP and which one is faster.
Random interview process.
Recruiter reached out via call, didn’t bother to explain interview process at all and was just in a hurry to schedule an interview.
The interviewer themselves joined 10 minutes late and didn’t bother introducing themselves. Just asked for your introduction, threw a problem at you and asked you to code it without understanding your thought process.
When asked what kind of traffic they serve or the Requests/Second they serve, he said “Reach out to HR for this”. Interviewer was unable to answer basic questions about the company itself

It was on campus internship opportunity, Round 1 was online coding round after that there was first technical round which was interviewed by tech lead of company and then there was 2nd technical round which was interviewed by different panelist.
