I was interviewed by a week ago for the profile of Business Analyst. The interviewer was working simultaneously along with interview and his focus was not on the interview and he put call on hold 3 times in 25 minutes interview. I was continuously following up with HR for the feedback as I was much confident because all the answers and queries were resolved very confidently. They keep telling me that they hasn’t get any response from interviewer. I get connected with the interviewer on LinkedIn and he told that they has not shortlisted me as I dont have experience in API development. First thing - the desired skill of API development was never discussed and not mentioned intheir JD. Second- its doesnt make sense to expect development skills from Business Analyst. Might be they are not aware about BA roles and responsibilities. They should have a clear vision for the role they are going to hire. Very pathetic experience with the company. They dont have value of time of candidates.
