The hiring manager (who was also in HR) almost immediately asked me if I could speak Chinese. When I said no, she promptly asked three quick questions without even trying to converse with me. It seemed like she was specifically looking for a Chinese-speaking candidate because she made almost no effort to conduct a true interview once she realized I wasnt what she was looking for. Incredibly unprofessional.
