As part of initial application, took a brief coding screener / challenge. Then A screening interview and a second more substantial challenge. Then a tech interview to follow-up on the challenge.

Initial cipher challenge they bragged about being a "nerd-sniper" but as other reviews have stated, anyone could've solved it with ChatGPT. After passing that gate, had a phone screen with an in-house recruiter. She was wonderful. Communicative and very nice. She gave me the choice between a frontend-focused and backend-focused take-home and I chose the frontend-focused one. After completing the take-home, had a technical Zoom interview with an engineering manager to discuss the submission and implement a few additions to the original prompt. He was nice as well. Then came the "culture" Zoom interview and this one was very unpleasant. Two guys with the same name that clearly didn't want to be there asking pointed questions about particular scenarios I've experienced in the past. This interview was abruptly ended halfway through the allotted time with a "thanks so much, we'll be in touch with next steps" out of the blue and both of them leaving the Zoom call.
