The interview process involved a lot of questions regarding my past experience in security and why I had left my prior position. There was some inference that I was not telling the truth about my reasons for leaving the prior company and it was openly stated that they would follow-up on it by calling the other company to verify the facts. Not an unreasonable thing to do, but very unreasonable to throw in the face of a prospective employee.
