Entrevista
I was walked into a computer room where it was private and was asked a few questions by the customer service manager. I wore business casual and brought a folder with my resume in case it was needed. It was not since he had one printed already. I was asked a few questions and was told I would need to come back in a few days for additional paperwork. It was a surprise drug test as well in the few days. Overall it was an easy normal process.
“The interview process at Publix was straightforward and welcoming. I applied online and was quickly contacted for an in-person interview. The hiring manager asked a few basic questions about availability, customer service experience, and how I would handle different situations. The process felt more like a conversation than a formal interview, and they mainly wanted to see if I was friendly, reliable, and able to work flexible hours. It was short, professional, and stress-free.”
The interview process is easy and straightforward, esspecially if you are coming to them as a first time hire. They will ask you to complete some online forms via their corporate worker website to fill out things such as a personality quiz, a general rule-following section, as well as a page for previous work history. In the in-person interview they will ask why Publix and what would you want to contribute to the team. Further, my manager went over all the things in his life that he has seen Publix improve, such as the benefits offered by Publix, his thoughts on the Publix mission, and more.

Why would you be a good fit here at Publix, and more importantly at the Front End talking to our customers?
I applied online and never got an email back. Normally, most places I apply too normally at least email back saying you didn’t get it, meanwhile Publix went full ghost.
